This article is being produced as part of the reporting on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) global indicators. It is a collaborative project between the SDG and Crime team. It analyses data (using 3 years) from the CSEW to report on global indicator 5.2.1 which is a measure of women who have experienced “partner abuse” in the previous year. In keeping with the UN agenda of leaving no one behind, it looks at some of the protected characteristics (and others) in order to identify the women who are most vulnerable and at risk. It also looks at position of the UK against other EU countries.
